The idea for Ukkomatti was born years ago. I fish at sea and move around the islets. That's where Ukko's idea and world also come from. I wanted to create a unique Finnish luxury product from precious metal that is timeless and lasts from father to son.
The fireplace warmed so comfortably at the cabin that the heating radiator could be turned down. I started thinking about the tubular pressure valve of the radiator. I figured, why machine the product from solid steel when the base can be skillfully laser-welded to the pipe. No one else in the world does it that way. It's a highly refined valve pipe, with a sheath of black leather from Kauhava's knife makers. Read more about Ukko's story.

The idea for the product came from the need to take along a favorite drink on trips and nature walks, allowing you to create unforgettable memories. Moments you want to experience with all your senses.
